You can change which bank or building society your BA Pension benefits are paid into online. Register or login to the member portal and go to My account. Alternatively you can download this form. If you want payment to an overseas bank please download an international payment form for the relevant country.
Let the Trustee know who you would like any lump sum death benefits to be paid in the event of your death. Log in to the BA Pensions member portal to see whether there are any benefits payable and update your form if applicable.
If you are not married or in a civil partnership, you may nominate an adult who is wholly or partly financially dependent on you to be considered to receive an Adult Survivor’s pension (if you paid towards this). Payment is at the absolute discretion of the Trustee. The Trustee is not legally bound by this form, but will bear it in mind when deciding how to exercise its discretion in paying an Adult Survivor's pension. If you have saved AVCs, Pension Wise guidance regulations apply. These regulations are intended to increase the take-up of free pensions guidance from Pension Wise and are designed to help you make informed decisions about your options when accessing your AVCs. When you apply to draw or transfer out your Scheme benefits, we are required to direct you to appropriate pensions guidance available through Pension Wise. You can choose whether to take up the Pension Wise guidance or opt out. You must complete one of the forms in the Pension Wise pack for the transfer of AVCs to continue.
