BA pays

BA also pays into your pension.

If you are a member of NAPS, BA currently pays roughly four times the standard contribution amount that you pay. In addition to this, BA pays significant annual payments towards the NAPS deficit, ranging from £144 million a year during 2010 rising to £383 million a year by 2026.

Under BAMPS, BA pays the same contribution as you (plus an extra 10% if you pay your BAMPS contributions via BA's salary sacrifice arrangement - SmartPension) up to a maximum of 8% of your Pensionable pay.
