What you get at retirement will mainly depend on:
- the age at which you retire
- your Retiring pay and Pensionable service if you are in Final Salary
- your selected pension build-up if you are in Final Salary
- your own and BA's contributions, and investment returns if you are in BAMPS
- any Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) you may have paid
- any Government benefits from the State Second Pension (S2P).
| When you can retire | |
| Normal Retirement: | Normal retirement age is age 65 if you are currently in Plan 65, or 60 if you are currently in Plan 60. |
| Early Retirement: | If you retire before your Normal retirement age - from age 50. The minimum age for early retirement rises to 55 from April 2010.
