When can I, and how do I, change my AVCs or SmartAVCs?
You can start, stop or change your SmartAVC amounts once a year, currently during September to take effect from 1 October.
Normal AVCs are flexible. You can stop, start or change your amounts, or change the investment of your AVC funds as often as you like. All requests for changes must be made in writing and signed by you. Instructions must be received by 20th of a month for the change to take effect from the 1st of the following month.
You can change the investment of your AVCs at any time during the year. Any investment change will automatically apply to both SmartAVC and normal AVCs.
