How much pension will I get?

Under Final Salary, your pension is worked out as a percentage of your salary, based on the period that you've been a member of the Scheme (your Pensionable service).

Your basic pension for service up to 31 March 2007 (your Pensionable service x your Retiring pay) divided by 52 for Flying staff or by 56 for Ground Staff.

Plus a pension for service between after 1 April 2007 = (Pensionable service to 31 March 2007 x your retiring pay divided by pension build up rate chosen by you).

If you have chosen a different Build up rate we will use this Build up rate for the period you have been paying for the different rate.

Under BAMPS, your and BA's contributions are paid to an individual retirement account which grows with interest. The pension you can buy will depend on the value of your account and annuity rates at retirement.
