When I Die
Any dependant benefits will be paid to your beneficiaries when you die. Please ensure you have filled in a Notice of Wish form.
Final Salary
Upon your death, your dependants may receive the following, if you have made the necessary arrangements.
- An Adult Survivor's pension
- Dependent children's allowances
- Additional dependant's pension
- A dependant's pension from your AVC account, if you bought an AVC pension with dependant's cover
- A Lump sum may be payable if no Adult Survivor's pension or dependent children's allowances are payable. The Lump sum will be the difference between any benefits you have received and your contributions plus interest, and is payable as described in the Notice of Wish.
